About Glass Whiteboards
The standard approach to the office 'whiteboard' has long been restricted to large wooden or metal panels, coated with a white material of some kind, and usually edged with an aluminium strip. Though providing a much needed functionality, they are usually ugly and messy, and it is difficult to consider them as anything other than a nexessary evil, to be placed only in training rooms or out of the way places. ...and they all seem to come in the same magic colour - white.
To write on them one generally needs to use a 'whiteboard marker' specifically made for the purpose - attempting to remove a normal marker pen on the usual whiteboard is a disaster! There is never the right marker to hand, and if there is, nine times out of ten it is about to run out. Easily scratched, in no time at all, the office whiteboard looks old and tired, with smears of colour firmly rubbed into the the surface. Whatever you do to redesign, or repaint, you are still faced with that same dreary piece of wall furniture.
